Blessing of the Pets

Blessing of the Pets and Pet Celebration! Saturday, October 4th, on the Feast of St. Francis, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception will celebrate their annual Blessing of the Pets on the Green behind the Cathedral. In connection with the blessing, the Cathedral Campus Youth Ministry (CCYM) will be hosting a Pet Celebration with games and activities for pets and owners! Great services will also be available such as a Pet Wash and Nail Clipping. And neither pet nor owner will want to miss a fantastic silent auction. All proceeds from the games, services and auction will benefit the CCYM fund for mission and community service activities. The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. concluding with the procession of pets and blessing beginning at noon. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is located at 1695 Central Avenue in Memphis. All creatures great and small welcome!
